Hey friend! I know figuring out what to make for dinner day after day is hard work, and going to the grocery store without a list can be overwhelming and expensive. I made the choice to meal plan because I believe cooking at home is important for physical, relational, and financial health.
Over time, I’ve discovered things that make the art of dinnering (yes I made that word up) less of a hassle –
Get all my grocery shopping for the week done in one trip
Keep everyday meals simple so I don’t burn out
Have the right tools to make things easier
Set aside a couple hours to do meal prep for the week
Cook extra food for dinner and use leftovers for snack and lunches
I don’t have it all figured out and sometimes I don’t feel like cooking, but having a plan and prepped ingredients to use help a lot. There’s no specific “diet;” meals are simply made with real food and easily adjustable to be gluten-free or dairy-free.
Here’s a list of kitchen tools I highly recommend to make life easier, and here’s a list of staple ingredients I keep in my pantry and fridge/freezer (also to make life easier) so I can whip something up to eat even if there’s not much around.
I’d love to hear your suggestions on how I can help you with meal planning, as well as any questions you have on what I post.
Happy cooking everyone!!
